Afraid to update

When the game was updated last year, the update notes said it was to support iPhone 5 and 6, and bug fixes. The scummy developers didnt mention that it would also diminish the game with stupid advertising that screwed up the audio and killed the music. Now theres another update and again the useless description just says "gameplay experience should be improved." Really? Why should anyone believe that? Im not upgrading unless I start seeing a lot of reviews that say this upgrade made it better and thats not what Im seeing so far.
